Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) is a new imaging modality that directly detects iron oxide nanoparticle tracers at any point, space and time within the body. Because the tracer is not normally found in the body, MPI images have exceptional contrast and high sensitivity. This allows us to see tracers in cells (cell tracking), blood (perfusion) and other functional systems (targeting, drug delivery systems..) within a living organism.

The Momentum CT includes an optional x-ray/CT for automated anatomical co-registration with MPI images. The integrated CT enables:

• Automatically co-registered MPI + X-ray/CT workflow
• Fast, low dose X-ray/CT images
• Quantitative cell tracking with anatomical context

The system’s intuitive workflow and robust reconstruction reliably produce high-quality images without requiring a dedicated operator.

MagImage is a custom data acquisition and analysis platform developed for Magnetic Insight products. The software comes preinstalled on Momentum imagers, and additional licenses are included with your system purchase.

• Exporting publication-ready images, movies, and datasets
• Post-processing and imaging analysis tools with nanoparticle-specific filters for more advanced data analysis
